Good to Know

Questions, Answered

What time should we arrive at the church?

Please plan to be seated by 1:30 PM. The ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Casselberry. Parking is available on the church grounds.

Is there transportation between the church and reception?

Yes — we're providing a complimentary group shuttle from Embassy Suites to St. Augustine for the ceremony, and back to the hotel afterward for cocktail hour and reception. We strongly encourage hotel guests to ride with us so no one has to drive. Schedule details will be shared with confirmed RSVPs closer to the date.

For those not on the shuttle, the venues are about 6 miles apart (12 minutes by car). Uber and Lyft serve the area well.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely. We'll have a dedicated Children's Reception in the Florida Room from 6:00 to 11:00 PM with food, activities, and supervision so the little ones have their own celebration alongside ours.

What's the dress code?

Formal or Traditional Nigerian. Cocktail dresses, suits, gowns — or aso ebi, gele, agbada, and isiagu. Whatever feels celebratory and like you. The wedding palette is coral, gold, ivory, and green if you'd like to coordinate.

Can I get a custom traditional outfit made for the wedding?

Yes! Our custom tailors can make traditional outfits for both men and women — provided your order is placed early enough to allow for tailoring and shipping time. Please reach out to us soon to coordinate.

Work with the couple to place your order, or to join in the aso ebi — the Yoruba tradition of family and friends wearing matching fabric chosen by the couple as a sign of unity. (Igbo: akwa otu · English: "family cloth")

Where to order:

Dyme Royale — Women's attire
Heritage Tailor — Men's attire

Email us at KelechiandRhonda@outlook.com to coordinate fabric, sizing, and timing.

Will the ceremony be a Catholic Mass?

Yes — Fr. Emmanuel Akalue will officiate a Catholic wedding ceremony. All guests of any faith (or none) are warmly welcome to participate as they're comfortable.

What's the closest airport?

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the primary option, about 30 minutes south of the hotel. Sanford International (SFB) is a smaller alternative roughly 20 minutes north for guests on Allegiant Air.

Where are the events held?

The ceremony is at:

St. Augustine Catholic Church
375 N. Sunset Drive
Casselberry, FL 32707

The cocktail hour, reception, and accommodations are all at:

Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando North
225 Shorecrest Drive
Altamonte Springs, FL 32701
Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We're asking for an unplugged ceremony — phones away, please, so our professional photographer can capture the moment. Snap away at the reception!

How do I reach the couple?

The fastest way is the RSVP form above (use the notes field), or scan the QR code on your physical invitation. You can also reach us anytime at KelechiandRhonda@outlook.com.
